The school's primary objective is to offer education on British lines for children from four to eleven years of age living in or around Geneva and to prepare them for secondary education in any English-speaking school.

The School provides a learning environment in which all the children can be happy, contented and safe. They are motivated and able to flourish and achieve their full potential as well as feel a sense of fulfilment. The aim is to give all the children the confidence and enthusiasm to become life-long learners with an appreciation of and respect for others.

Within the community of the School, the children are expected to work hard, to respect other people and to be helpful and cooperative. A careful balance is kept between discipline and freedom so that by the time they leave, the children have developed a measure of self-control and self-reliance.

Beyond the classroom is offered an extensive programme of activities which it is hoped will not only enrich the school career of the child but will also foster the development of skills and interests which may last into adult life.

The curriculum is designed to enhance a child's natural curiosity and sense of inquiry, and to foster independence and an enthusiasm for learning. In all areas of the curriculum, dedicated staff provide children with a range of stimulating, challenging experiences and activities.

It is obvious that literacy and numeracy are of prime concern and great emphasis is placed upon these vital aspects of the curriculum.
